My Approach

I am an Integrative Counsellor, which means I use a range of counselling models to best suit the individual needs of my clients. First and foremost I will listen to you compassionately and without judgement, and provide support and encouragement as you begin your journey of self-discovery.

I use some shorter-term approaches such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)  and Solution Focused Therapy. Positive psychology and mindfulness-based practices are areas of particular interest to me and are very good for raising self-esteem and encouraging self-acceptance. Because each client is an individual with a unique story, we will find the counselling model that best suits you.

My Qualifications

I have worked as an adult and adolescent counsellor for many years in Britain and America.

I am a Registered and Accredited Member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy), and hold a Masters degree in School Guidance Counselling.
