FAQs
What is Counselling?
Counselling is talk therapy in a safe, non-judgemental and caring place. Sharing your worries with a trained counsellor, who will help you explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours, can help you gain insight into areas of your life where you may be stuck. Counselling can help you on your journey towards feeling more joyful and empowered in life.
How long will I need
to attend?
Counselling is a personal journey. Weekly or fortnightly sessions are common in the beginning but meetings can be taken down to once a month, or less, when a client starts to feel better.
Some people only need a few sessions before they start feeling more positive, whereas other clients require more long-term counselling. It is always up to a client how long they attend therapy.
